Jakarta, May 22-23, 2025 – The fourth round of negotiations on the Agreement between the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Government of the Republic of Indonesia on the Promotion and Mutual Protection of Investments was held, with the participation of representatives from the ministries of foreign affairs, investment, justice, and finance of both countries.

Following the two-day negotiations, the parties reached a mutual understanding on all key provisions of the draft Agreement.

The parties expressed confidence that the implementation of the Agreement’s provisions will contribute to the activation of bilateral investments, provide additional guarantees for investors, and serve as a reliable legal basis for further strengthening trade and economic ties between the two countries.
