The forum on information security and cyberculture development "CYBER QURYLTAI: an oasis of security in Turkestan" was held at the Rixos Turkistan hotel in Turkestan. The forum was attended by about 80 industry experts from the regions of the country, who shared their experience.

The purpose of the event, organized by the akimat of the Turkestan region, the Department of digitalization, public services and archives of the Turkestan region, is to discuss topical issues in the field of information security in the context of digital transformation, consider mechanisms for countering modern cyber threats, as well as strengthen interaction between government agencies and the private sector.

CYBER QURYLTAI is an important event for the formation of a safe digital ecosystem aimed at ensuring the sustainable development of our country in the face of global digital challenges.

The meeting was moderated by V. Zubanov, managing director of Kaspersky Laboratory in Kazakhstan, Central Asia and Mongolia.

The forum was opened by the head of the Office of the Akim of Turkestan region Yerkebulan Daulbayev, who wished the participants good luck in their work.
Deputy Chairman of the Information Security Committee of the Ministry of digital development, innovation and aerospace industry of the Republic of Kazakhstan Umitzhan Arykbekova also spoke and noted that work is underway to introduce international standards to the country.

Turkistan Hub in the region is a center for supporting regional IT startups and developing digital entrepreneurship. Acceleration programs for young people and startups, training courses for IT specialists are conducted here. In addition, Smart Hub centers have been opened in the districts, and young people in rural areas are also provided with digital opportunities and access to education. These centers are expected to become a reference point for local IT projects and services, not just training.

This year, it is planned to open a branch of the South Korean university "Woosong" in Turkestan. The University ІТ will develop the education system and implement innovative projects in the region. It is also planned to implement an international IT park project with the Chinese company "Sunwah Group".

The event continued with a panel session on the topic" innovative approaches in the development of digitalization and cybersecurity in Kazakhstan". Representatives of the information security sector provided valuable information.

Speakers and experts will also discuss the topic "Safe City: how to create a protected urban environment with Hikvision?", "How to protect data? Compliance with the requirements of the law or the convenience of users – which one to choose?", "New technologies in the Checkpoint product portfolio", "standards of server rooms and the role of microcode in digital transformation".

The second part of the forum continued with a session of the Information Security Committee under the Ministry of digital development, innovation and aerospace industry and training training on the implementation of state control. On this day, the participants were given a tour in Turkestan, where they were presented with the tourist and investment potential of the Regional Center.
