The Department of State Revenue of the Pavlodar region hosted a seminar on topical issues of combating corruption, preventing religious extremism and Internet fraud. The event was initiated by the Department of the Agency of the Republic of Kazakhstan for Combating Corruption (Anti-Corruption Service) in Pavlodar region, with the participation of representatives of the Department of Religious Affairs and the Police Department of Pavlodar region. The event was held in the format of a seminar, where participants considered the acute challenges of our time related to corruption risks, the spread of radical ideas under the guise of religious beliefs, as well as the growing number of crimes in the digital space. Key topics of discussion included: anti-corruption: preventive measures, prevention of religious extremism, Internet fraud: schemes, protection, responsibility. As a result of the event, recommendations were developed to strengthen preventive and educational work, as well as expand cooperation with law enforcement agencies.
