In order to prevent accidents and accidents during the operation of tower cranes on construction sites, the Industrial Safety Department of the Emergency Situations Department of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Republic of Kazakhstan informs individuals and organizations that own and operate tower cranes about the need to comply with the requirements of the applicable laws of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the "Rules for ensuring Industrial safety in the operation of lifting mechanisms" from December 30, 2014 for No. 359. 1. The presence of cracks in the metal structures of cranes;

2. The load capacity limitation device is not working properly (not installed);

3. The metering device is not working properly (not installed);

4. Deformations of the metal structure of the section or boom

5. No grounding of the controllers;

6. Deformation of lattice structure elements;

7. Loose mounting bolts;

8. Crushing the eyelets and making holes in the hinges;

9. Unacceptable misalignment of the pivoting support of the tower crane In the presence of at least one of the above defects, the operation of the tower crane is prohibited until all the comments are eliminated.

Neglect of basic safety rules on a construction site when working at height using lifting equipment leads to tragic consequences, up to the death of people. In addition to physical defects, during the inspection, it is necessary to carefully check the operational documentation and information about the training of people operating (and responsible persons) the tower crane.
