On May 26, 2025, Ambassador-at-Large – Head the Representative office of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan in Almaty Zhanibek Abdrashov participated and delivered welcoming remarks at the forum «Youth Leading Change: Dialogue for Impact».

The event was organized on the occasion of the visit of the United Nations Assistant Secretary-General for Youth Affairs, Dr. Felipe Paullier, to Almaty.

In his speech, Zh. Abdrashov reaffirmed Kazakhstan’s commitment to the UN global youth agenda and emphasized the importance of cooperation with the UN Youth Office in the areas of digitalization, education, and mental health.

The Ambassador also highlighted the potential of the newly established Regional Centre for the Sustainable Development Goals for Central Asia and Afghanistan in Almaty as a key platform for regional youth cooperation.
