The event «Shadows of the Past: History Lessons for New Generations» was held in the EKR Museum-Reserve, dedicated to the Day of Remembrance of the Victims of Political Repression and Famine in Kazakhstan for senior students of Gymnasium No. 38 named after Lev Gumilyov. During the event, students learned about the life and work of significant representatives of the Kazakh intelligentsia, such as Akhmet Baitursynov, Saken Seyfullin, Turar Ryskulov, Beimbet Mailin, Ilyas Zhansugurov, Sanzhar Asfendiyarov, Mirzhakyp Dulatov, who made a huge contribution to the development of the Kazakh people. The participants of the event emphasized the importance of tolerance in society, strengthening public harmony and national unity. A fragment of the film «M. Dulatov» was shown to the students.
