Köping, 28th of May, 2025 – The Ambassador of the Republic of Kazakhstan to Sweden, Olzhas Suleimenov, visited the headquarters and production facilities of Hästens, a world-famous Swedish brand specializing in the production of premium beds.

During the meeting with the company's management, prospects for cooperation, including the potential for localization of individual product components, in particular the supply of natural horsehair from Kazakhstan, the opening of flagship boutiques in Astana and Almaty, as well as the possibility of positioning Kazakhstan as a regional hub for Hästens in Central Asia were discussed.

The Ambassador noted that Kazakhstan, with its rich horse breeding traditions, is an interesting market for Hästens, especially given the company's unique approach to production using natural materials, including horsehair, cotton, linen and wool.

By the end of the meeting, the Ambassador invited the management of Hästens to visit Kazakhstan for a detailed study of the market, meetings with relevant governmental bodies and potential business partners.
