During the meeting, the parties discussed the prospects for bilateral cooperation, in particular in the field of the agro—industrial complex. Special attention was paid to the localization of agricultural machinery production in the region.
Marat Akhmetzhanov stressed that Akmola region is traditionally one of the leading agricultural regions of the country and occupies key positions in ensuring food security in Kazakhstan.
By the way, the region produces high-quality grain, providing up to 25% of the national volume. Work continues in the region to modernize the agricultural sector, expand acreage and increase yields, which helps strengthen export potential.
