The Estonian delegation was particularly interested in cooperation with farmers of Akmola region. At the meeting with the governor of the region Marat Akhmetzhanov and entrepreneurs of the region, the issue of exporting agricultural products to European countries through Estonian ports and logistics companies was discussed in detail. The delegation from Estonia included representatives of large logistics companies, Port leaders and railway industry leaders.

During the meeting, the governor of the region noted the important role of the Akmola region in ensuring food security of Kazakhstan and dwelled on the development potential of the agro-industrial complex.
It should be noted that the foreign trade turnover between Akmola region and Estonia in 2024 amounted to 112.7 thousand US dollars, an increase of 31.5% compared to the same period in 2023.

President of Sillamyae port, the second largest seaport in Estonia, Tiit Vyahi expressed interest in strengthening cooperation with Akmola region.
