Farmers of Akmola region sowed 3.8 million hectares of sown land out of the planned 5.5 million. Today, 117 limited liability companies and 366 farms have completed spring field work. This is one of the best indicators of the sowing campaign in the country.
This year, 5.5 million hectares of farmland are planned to be planted in the region. This is 48.1 thousand hectares more than last year. The acreage of potatoes and vegetables has been significantly expanded.
The grain companies plan to complete the sowing campaign by the beginning of June. A significant amount of sowing has already been carried out in Atbasar, Sandyktau, Tselinograd, Korgalzhyn districts and Birzhan Sal district.
