A new Children's Art Center for 1,300 children has opened in the city of Tobyl in the Kostanay district. The event was attended by the Akim of the Kostanay region, Kumar Aksakalov.

As the head of the region emphasized in his speech, the development of human capital and the development of the potential of young people is a priority task outlined by the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Kassym-Jomart Kemelevich Tokayev. The state consistently creates conditions that allow children and adolescents to realize their abilities in creativity, science, sports and public life.

1.5 billion tenge from the state budget were allocated for the construction of the Center for Additional Education "Balalar Alemi". The new facility is equipped with modern equipment and meets all safety and accessibility requirements.

The Children's Art Center and the Children's Music School are united under one roof. Within the framework of the House of Creativity, there are about 50 clubs: debate clubs in different languages, acting, ecology, local history, choreography, as well as clubs for national sports - togyzkumalak, asyk atu and traditional games. There is a modern technology park with areas of robotics, Lego construction, photo and video studios, a STEAM laboratory and a hydroponics room.

At the music school, more than 250 students receive education in 12 areas. Over the past year alone, the school's material and technical base was updated for the amount of 107 million tenge: new musical instruments and digital equipment were purchased. The dombra is especially popular among students - this year 86 children are studying this instrument. Interest in other national instruments - kobyz and zhetigen - is also growing.

Over the past three years, students of the institution have become laureates and diploma winners of more than 200 regional, national and international competitions. Recent victories include the Grand Prix of the international competition "Bala Shabyty" won by Dilnaz Alembaeva, and first place in the Latif Khamidi competition won by Batyr Karzhaspayev.

- In November last year, at the opening of the SMART center "IQostanay", I noted the importance of creating such modern institutions in each district of the region. Today we see how these plans are being implemented. I am convinced that it is in such centers that new stars of Kazakhstan will be lit, - emphasized Kumar Aksakalov.

By the end of the year, a new House of Creativity for 100 people is also planned to open in the Zhangeldinsky district.

Creating conditions for the comprehensive development of the younger generation remains among the main priorities of the regional policy of the Kostanay region.
