An important and historical event was held in Kokshetau — the solemn event dedicated to the day of state symbols was attended by a person whose name is inscribed in the Chronicle of independence of Kazakhstan with a golden letter. The author of the state emblem Zhandarbek Malibekov came as an honorary guest of the festive meeting and added a special meaning to the ceremony.

"Today it is a great joy to see our Blue Flag Flying. Let it always hover over the country and become a symbol of our growth, spirit and dignity. Young people need to have a deep understanding of the importance of the state emblem — it reflects the unity of our people, the integrity of our country and the wisdom of the Great Steppe. The liberation that the ancestors dreamed of is our common duty to history. And today's achievements are thanks to the younger generation," said Zhandarbek Malibekov, the author of the coat of arms.

His participation in this event became not only a tribute to his great work, but also a spiritual bridge, symbolizing the continuity of generations from the first years of independence to the present day. The new generation takes patriotism and respect for state symbols with great pride and continues the same baton.

"It is a great honor for us to meet you today in Akmola region, which is the heart of our country, where our blue flag is flying high. Your participation in the holiday of state symbols is an event of special importance," governor of Akmola region Marat Akhmetzhanov said.

The solemn ceremony took place on the square near the monument" Tu pedestal". The event brought together more than 500 people-Veterans, social activists, young athletes, students and representatives of the arts. The national flag was solemnly raised to the sky, and the Chamber Choir of the Regional Philharmonic named after Ukili Ibray, the combined choir of students of the Kokshetau higher Kazakh pedagogical college named after zh.Musin and the Birzhan Sal Music College performed our Anthem.

The head of the region made a welcoming speech, noting the importance of symbols in the national consciousness and education of the younger generation.

"The importance of state symbols is revealed by the achievements of our compatriots at the international level. In 2025, athletes from Akmola Region won 11 medals at the Asian Winter Games, Khan Yana and Arina Kryukova became prize-winners of prestigious short track and biathlon competitions," Marat Akhmetzhanov said.

Within the framework of the event, letters of thanks from the Akim of the region were presented to citizens who worked in the sports, educational, creative and public spheres. The award ceremony was held by laureates of international and national competitions, participants of the Folk Dance Ensemble “sixteen girls”.

At the patriotic campaign, Kazakhstan was presented with a patriotic musical number performed by the ethno group "Orda", which recently presented the culture of the Kazakh people in Frankfurt and Stuttgart, Germany, and held art evenings with National Instruments.
