A modern dairy farm for 6,000 heads will appear in the Karaganda region, it is being built by Eurasia Invest in the Rodnikovsky rural district of the Osakarov district. This is one of the largest investment projects in the country in the field of dairy farming worth more than 30 billion tenge. The farm's capacity is 9,000 tons of milk per year. Its commissioning will provide 180 new jobs.

Akim of the region Ermaganbet Bulekpayev got acquainted with the progress of the project during a working trip to Osakarov district.

Together with the head of the company, he laid a memorial stone in honor of the foundation of the future largest facility.

Ivan Georgiadi, the founder of Eurasia Invest LTD LLP, said that the project will be implemented in stages, the first stage is planned to be launched this year. The first batch of Holstein-Frisian cows has already been purchased.

– The project is unique in that one complex will house 1,200 heads at the first stage, and then twice as many. The feed base will be our own. Almost a thousand hectares of corn have already been planted this season, as well as alfalfa," says Ivan Georgiadi. – In agriculture, we are the third move. The first one was an introductory one. We have purchased the equipment, it is the most modern. In the second year, we started working on irrigation – we supported the Message of the Head of State – and we see the result. 2024 was a turning point, as we planned the implementation of major projects for ourselves. They came out with an application for preferential loans. They supported us. I would like to express my gratitude to the leadership of the country and the region for their support.

The company will increase the area of irrigated land to 10 thousand hectares. The project provides for the installation of 120 sprinklers. This will increase the yield. In addition, a vegetable storage facility for 12 thousand tons will be built.

– This is a very necessary and important project, – said Ermaganbet Bulekpayev. – We recently opened a dairy farm with 1,200 heads in the Nura district. Taking into account the new initiatives, we will almost completely eliminate the need for domestic raw materials from our dairies. We will reduce import dependence. This is the main task that the President has set for us – to avoid imports and develop our own production.

This year, in the Osakarov district, the acreage was increased to 450 thousand hectares – 34.5 thousand hectares more than last year.

The output of livestock products is also growing. The number of cattle, sheep, goats, and horses has increased. The issue of the shortage of pasture lands is being resolved. The Zhailau project, which has already been implemented in the rural districts of Karagaily, Saryozek, Ozerny, Akbulak, Shiderty and in the Molodezhny village, helped in this. The Yesil rural district will be added this year.
