Kazakhstan and Burkina Faso discussed prospects for ODA cooperation

Astana, 4 June 2025 - Within the framework of the working visit to the Republic of Kazakhstan the Minister of Foreign Affairs, International Cooperation and Burkinabe Abroad of Burkina Faso Karamoke Traoré met with the Chairman of the Board of the Kazakhstan Agency of International Development KazAID A. Arystanov.

During the talks, the parties exchanged views on the current humanitarian and socio-economic challenges facing Burkina Faso and discussed the possibilities of Kazakhstan's participation in international efforts to promote the development of African states.

Following the meeting, the parties expressed interest in establishing practical co-operation within the framework of official development assistance.
