City improvement begins with cleanliness. In this direction, raids are regularly held in the city of Atyrau. They are attended by employees of the police department and the akimat, the Regional Communications Service reports.

“Since the beginning of the year, 8,340 administrative violations have been recorded under the following articles of the Code of the Republic of Kazakhstan: article 434-2 (pollution of public places), article 505 (violation of the rules for the improvement of the territories of cities and towns), article 386 (destruction and damage to green spaces). Based on these facts, 2,795 warnings and 3,045 protocols with the imposition of fines were drawn up,” the Head of the Atyrau Police Department Karshyga Dyusengaliyev said.

The goal is to maintain cleanliness within the city, improve the environmental culture of the population and comply with the requirements of the law.

During raids, residents are informed about the need to maintain order and cleanliness in their yard and beyond, and about the inadmissibility of throwing garbage in unauthorized places; in this case, administrative measures are applied.
