On June 9 in Beirut the Ambassador of Kazakhstan Rasul Jumaly met with the Head of the Catholicosate of the Great House of Cilicia in Lebanon Aram I. During the conversation, an exchange of views took place on the role of religion in modern human civilization, the importance of establishing mutual understanding between different faiths. Aram I, who is an outstanding figure in the Armenian community not only in Lebanon but also in the world, noted the growing importance of Kazakhstan in solving various regional problems. In this regard, he showed keen interest in the activities of the Congress of Leaders of World and Traditional Religions, as well as other peace-loving initiatives of Kazakhstan.
