Akmola land is the birthplace of famous akyns, poets and composers, the sacred place of unification of three zhuzes by Abylai Khan. In this blessed land, where Birzhan Sal, Akan sere, Baluan Sholak and Ukili Ibrai left a great creative legacy, the Kazakh National Orchestra of Folk Instruments named after Kurmangazy presented a concert program filled with deep meaning and national spirit that touched the hearts of Akmola residents.

An evening was held at the new public venue in Kokshetau, an amphitheater on the shores of Lake Kopa, which brought together more than 2,000 citizens.

Special guests of the concert and audience favorites are Honored Worker of Kazakhstan, famous singer Nurlan Onerbayev and laureate of international and national competitions Ayazhan Kuanyshaliyeva, who captivated the audience with their talent.

The orchestra and soloists performed: kui "Adai", "Sarzhailau", "Shandy zhoryk", "Saryarka", vocal compositions "Kagym-ai" and "Auylym", works by Bizet, Strauss, Akhmet Zhubanov and other composers. The program includes 20 works in total.

The orchestra's chief conductor, winner of the Daryn State Youth Award, Abylai Tilepbergen:

"Our repertoire covers a wide range — from traditional kuis to works of world classics. Along with the kuys of Kurmangazy, Dina, and Tattimbet, we perform works by world composers. This demonstrates the enormous potential of our national instruments.

In addition, the program includes complex and meaningful works by modern Kazakhstani composers. Each of them contains our history, spirit and culture.

Most of all, we were pleased with the warm attitude of the Kokshetau public. The audience of the region received the orchestra with special warmth and stormy applause. This is a vivid testimony of respect for art and sincere love for national music.

This evening, the audience was presented with the pearls of traditional music – kui in a new inspiring sound.

Tonight was a special cultural event that left a deep impression and will remain on the lips of the grateful audience for a long time.
