On 10 June 2025, a working meeting was held in Astana between representatives of the State Revenue Committee of the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Kazakhstan and a delegation from Estonia, which included officials from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Estonia, the Estonian Tax and Customs Board, and the Embassy of Estonia in Kazakhstan.

        The parties discussed the current state and future prospects of bilateral cooperation in the field of customs. The dialogue covered issues such as digitalization, the use of modern risk management tools, as well as the exchange of experience in simplifying customs procedures and facilitating international trade.

        The meeting was held in a constructive and open atmosphere, confirming a high level of mutual understanding and interest in further strengthening cooperation.
