Hot weather has settled in Kostanay — the thermometer rose to +29 °C, and the townspeople rushed to the beaches en masse.

In this regard, at the initiative of the Kostanay region Police Department, a joint raid was conducted on recreation areas near the water. It was attended by police officers, emergency personnel and media representatives.

According to Galymzhan Mustafin, an officer of the Department of Civil Defense of the Emergency Situations Ministry of Kostanay region, the official bathing season lasts from June 1 to August 31. There are three places allowed for swimming in the city: the city beach, as well as the Mojito and Mishutka recreation areas in the Amangeldy residential area.

The patrol was conducted both from land and from water — the participants of the raid went out on three boats. Through loudspeakers, vacationers were reminded of safety rules: do not swim behind buoys, do not drink alcohol in public places, keep an eye on children and do not leave trash.
