In order to improve the quality of public services, the recommendations of the Ethics Council of the Agency of the Republic of Kazakhstan for Civil Service Affairs were sent to all service-providing bodies and reviewed at a meeting with akims of rural districts with the participation of the head of the district akim’s office. Based on the results of the review, decisions were made in terms of:

1) provide public services in accordance with by-laws that determine the procedure for providing public services;

2) consider the possibility of training specialists providing public services within the framework of the “En aldymen adamdar” seminars, specifically aimed at improving the quality and accessibility of public services;

3) prevent violation of the rights, freedoms and legitimate interests of service recipients;

4) involve representatives of non-governmental organizations and public councils in public oversight.
