Specialists of the Department of State Revenue in Pavlodar region took part in a training seminar on "Gambling addiction: stages and effective ways of prevention", which was held within the framework of the Tura Zhol project. The problem of ludomania, a pathological gambling addiction, has been causing increasing concern among specialists and the public in recent years. The speaker of the event, psychotherapist, narcologist of the highest category Lyazzat Baktybayeva, spoke about the causes of gambling addiction, its stages and methods of prevention. The seminar participants learned how gambling addiction is formed, what psychological mechanisms underlie it and what can help to cope with risks in the early stages.
