June 13, 2025 in Budapest - Minister of Tourism and Sports Yerbol Myrzabasynov took part in the awarding ceremony at the World Judo Championship, which is held in Budapest.

The Minister presented awards to athletes in the weight category up to 48 kg.

We note that Kazakhstan's Abiba Abuzhakynova, who performed in this category, reached the finals and became the first athlete in the history of domestic judo to win a silver medal at the World Championships.
