In Astana, the soldiers of the military-scientific platoon, as well as the guard and supply company of the National Defense University of the RK took an oath to be loyal to the Motherland.

Teachers of the educational institution, military servicemen, veterans of the Armed Forces, relatives of soldiers took part in the event. He congratulated.

- Military service means a special trust from the society and the state and high requirements for the moral and ethical appearance of a soldier, - he noted.

Five young people from the cities of Astana, Almaty and Karaganda with higher education in IT specialty were selected for the military-scientific platoon. In their daily activities, the servicemen of the unit are focused on the implementation of research projects in the field of high-tech weapons. Military servicemen maintain internal order, control the traffic regime, guard buildings and military property.

- Today we officially became military servicemen. We learned a lot during the one month service. Now in the new period we will learn the ins and outs of military work, I am sure that time will be interesting and responsible. We will try to justify the trust of the commanders and the hopes of the parents, - said private soldier Madi Esimbek.    

Before the swearing-in ceremony, conscripts passed the young soldier course. For a month, they studied general military statutes, the basics of line, physical training, shooting training, and practiced shooting.

Klara Maltaeva, the mother of private soldier Kairat Aitbay, congratulated the young soldiers on their special day.  

– Today every mother's heart is full of pride and love for her son. We have seen how our children are growing up. On behalf of all parents and sons, today you swore to be loyal to the Motherland. I hope you will honor your military duties. Your relatives believe in you and expect your safe return, he said.

During the event, soldiers demonstrated weapons and hand-to-hand combat techniques. At the end of the ceremony, the parents got acquainted with the living conditions of the soldiers.
