A meeting was held on the issues of anti-corruption legislation, official ethics and ideals of "Honest Citizen"

On June 5, 2025, the Department of Employment and Social Programs of Almaty city met with civil servants and employees of subordinate organizations at the social service center "Demeu" organized.

The main goal of the event is to explain the norms of anti-corruption legislation in the field of social protection of the people and the principles of official ethics, as well as to create a stable anti-corruption culture.

During the meeting, the participants were shown the consequences of corruption offenses and were presented with informative and video content. Particular attention was paid to the personal responsibility of each employee to comply with legal requirements, principles of honesty and high professional ethics. About 100 civil servants and employees of subordinate organizations took part in the meeting.

The first speaker — Agency against Corruption of the Republic of Kazakhstan (Anti-corruption service) Adilzhan Duysengalievich Agzhigitov, lecturer of the Almaty city department. He comprehensively explained the main principles of the anti-corruption legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan, and paid special attention to the personal responsibility of civil servants and the importance of observing the current legislation and norms of official ethics.

Shynar Alimkhanova emphasized the importance of forming a positive image of the state apparatus, strengthening the principles of transparency, accountability and honesty. He also emphasized the need to regularly conduct preventive work in labor teams. At the end of the meeting, he answered the questions asked by the participants, including questions related to the certification of HR personnel specialists. Amangeldieva. In his speech, he focused on the issues of preventing corruption, increasing legal awareness and strengthening the values ​​of justice and legality in public service. In his report, he introduced the participants to the Roadmap for the promotion of professional and personal qualities of civil servants for the years 2025-2027 in line with the ideals of the "Honest Citizen", approved by the joint order of the Agency Chairman and the Minister of Culture and Information.

Nurzhan Uzbekhanov's report supplemented the previously mentioned issues, creating a favorable moral and psychological climate in state bodies, preventing discrimination, as well as state paid special attention to the importance of protecting the honor and dignity of servants.
