COMPETITION: two prize-winning places - for the North Kazakhs!
21.06.2025 08:03:19 18541On June 14, 2025, the race championship of the Republic of Kazakhstan was held at the Kyzylzhar district hippodrome. This day has become a real holiday of national horse sports. The best riders from all over the country competed for a prize fund of 22,700,000 tenge and a ticket to the season finale.
Four main types of races were included in the competition program: kunan race (8 km, 15 participants), group race (14 km, 20 participants), alaman race (20 km, 14 participants) and zhorga race (7 km, 15 participants). Riders from the North Kazakhstan region also took part in these competitions. A total of 13 athletes performed on behalf of the region.
Omar Kazhmurat No. 3 named Talas and Tilegen Aitpay No. 17 Kazyna defended the honor of the region in the Kunan race. The group performed in the competition with Zharas Anafin horse No. 12 Zhuldyz, and Kabd Adem with horse No. 22 Dank. Amir Serik, the stallion No. 4 Karakoz, participated in the Allaman competition. Northern Kazakhs stood out especially in the jockey competition. Among 15 participants, two riders from SKO won prizes. The second place was won by Aliya Toktasynova with her horse Graf Lok. The owner of Zorga is Ayagoz Bekenova, and the coach is Aliya Toktasynova herself. The third place was taken by Andrey Rovdo with the name Triumph. The owner of the horse is Ayagoz Bekenova, the trainer is the rider himself.
The performance of the riders of the North Kazakhstan region in this major competition is a clear proof of their high level of training and great enthusiasm for national horse sports.
