The Financial Monitoring Agency is carrying out targeted work on the fight against the illegal circulation of electronic cigarette devices

Since the beginning of 2025:

• 32 data on the illegal circulation of vapes have been registered;
• more than 440 thousandproducts have been confiscated and destroyed;
• 6 units of equipment for the production of these products received;
• the total value of confiscated products exceeded 1.8 billion tenge;
• 14 peoplewere held criminally liable.

Illegal services were carried out through Telegram, WhatsApp messengers and courier services.

It should be noted that the main consumers of these products are youth and underage students.
