Today, about 250 open heart operations are performed in the region every year. Real results are being achieved in the direction of maternal and child health care. 6034 babies were born in 2024, and 5255 babies were born in the first months of this year. 425 children were born within the framework of the "Longing Baby" program. It is planned to open a cardiac surgery center for children in 2025.

West Kazakhstan Medical University named after M.Ospanov and Medical College named after M.Mametova also make a significant contribution to staff training.
