Akim of Almaty instructed to complete the reception department of KKB No. 4 on time

Akim of Almaty city Darkhan Satybaldi familiarized with the progress of renovation work in the reception department of City Clinical Hospital No. 4. This is one of the most important multidisciplinary medical institutions in Almaty, providing 24/7 continuous service.

An average of 250-300 patients come to the reception department per day. Up to 12,500 operations are performed in the clinic per year. A total of 1,118 employees, including 260 doctors, work here.

The renovation project includes 5 departments and 4 blocks with a total area of ​​about 7,000 square meters. The main goal is to expand the reception department, introduce an international triage-sorting system, open new operating rooms, create a 12-bed emergency OARIT department, as well as create a regional traumatology and orthopedics center. The date of completion of the renovation is set as February 2026.

During the construction, the main focus is on ensuring the continuous operation of the medical institution. For this purpose, an isolated ventilation system, real disassembly control, a "green corridor" for angiography and individual access to diagnostic services are provided.

Almaty Mayor Darkhan Satybaldi instructed the contracting organizations to pay strict attention to the deadlines, ensuring high quality at all stages. A construction project of a consultation-diagnostic center capable of accommodating 350 visitors was presented.

The number of patients visiting the oncology center is increasing every year. Over the past six years, the number of people receiving treatment has doubled from 12,000 to 24,000. In this regard, there is a need to build a new modern oncology center.

The mayor of the city Darkhan Satybaldi emphasized the importance of developing the proper infrastructure and increasing the availability of high-tech medical care to the population.
