Specialists of the Aktobe branch of the Zhaiyk-Caspian Basin Inspectorate conducted an inspection of five communal state enterprises of the region regarding the requirements for the protection and use of water resources.

As a result, the facts of illegal use of groundwater were found in the Kobda and Kargaly districts of the region, as well as in Akzhar-1, Kyzylzhar, Kargaly, Upper Kargaly, Orleu and Sazdy residential areas of Aktobe. It was found that two enterprises did not have permission to divert water.

"According to paragraph 3 of Article 462 of the Code of Administrative Offenses, 5 communal enterprises were fined for not having a special permission to use water. A total of 3.7 million tenge was produced," said Yergali Umbetbayev, head of the Zhaiyk-Caspian basin inspection.

Before that, 6 farms in Kyzylorda region were found to have illegally used more than 2.3 million cubic meters of water. Specialists of the Aral-Syr Darya basin inspection together with the Shardara district prosecutor's office identified 24 unregistered pump installations in the Turkestan region.
