Until the end of June, employees of the central state bodies of the Republic of Kazakhstan will undergo special online training on the citizensec.kz portal and increase the level of digital security.

This educational initiative is aimed at strengthening the culture of cyber hygiene and reducing the risks associated with the human factor when working with big data.

The program includes about 7 hours of video lessons. It covers personal data protection, recognizing phishing attacks, digital ethics, working with strong passwords, and other important topics. The courses are presented in a convenient format for individual use, and the materials are adapted for industry experts as well as heads of state bodies. Special methodological recommendations for creating an information security system in organizations have been developed for them.

"Digital literacy of civil servants is not only knowledge of security basics, but also the foundation of the reliability of the state IT infrastructure. We strive to create a culture of conscious action in the digital environment," said the representative of the authorized body in the field of information security.

The training covers thousands of employees, including specialists who work with important state information systems and personal data of citizens. This initiative is being implemented as part of ongoing prevention efforts against cyber threats. In addition to online courses, offline seminars, trainings and informational events will be held as part of it.

According to the data of international studies, it has been determined that about 80% of incidents in cyberspace are caused by human errors. Increasing user awareness is one of the most effective ways to protect digital systems.

The Citizensec.kz platform was developed with the participation of Kazakhstani and international experts and complies with modern methods of training information security specialists.

Cyber literacy is part of a long-term strategy aimed at creating a safe digital environment. The higher the level of conscious activity of users, the more reliable and stable government digital services will work. It should be noted that millions of Kazakhstanis depend on these services every day.
