Sniper competition, which glorified the spirit of the nation, united 270 athletes from 18 regions

On June 14, the city of Ural, the center of West Kazakhstan region, witnessed another historical event. The official opening ceremony of the traditional archery championship of the Republic of Kazakhstan among adults was held here.

About 270 elite shooters from 18 regions of the country gathered for this unique competition, which glorifies the nation's past and raises its spiritual base. This indicator is the result of interest in national sports and concrete steps aimed at its development.

Archery is not just a sport. It is a full heritage, a symbol of martial art and spiritual nobility, which has been passed down from generation to generation for centuries. Today, this art has received a new impetus and is rapidly developing as a sport.

The championship is a testimony of this trend. Within the framework of the competition, the participants learn the ancient types of bows and methods of shooting and demonstrate their skills. Each shot is not only accuracy, but also communication with history, harmony with the spirit of ancestors.

Several complex and traditional targets are included in the program of the tournament. Each target represents an ancient martial or hunting tradition:

Shield Target — 9 bullets, 7 opportunities

Central Asian Target — 6 bullets, 6 opportunities

Jamba Target — 5 bullets, 5 opportunities

During the competition shooters demonstrate not only their sports skills, but also qualities such as patience, concentration, patience and coordinated movement.

A number of well-known persons contributing to the development of national sports in the country took part in the grand opening ceremony of the championship. Dias Akhmetov, president of the republican traditional archery federation "Sadaq Aty", speaking at the ceremony, said about the importance of the national sport:
