In 2025, a modern meat poultry factory - "Eco-Chiken" LLP will start operating in Shaga rural district of Sauran district. The new investment project worth 2.5 billion tenge is designed to hold 280 thousand birds and will become one of the largest facilities in the agro-industrial complex in the region.

After reaching full capacity, the enterprise plans not only to cover the demand in the region, but also to enter the market of the country and supply quality poultry meat throughout Kazakhstan.

The project is being implemented within the framework of the comprehensive program for the development of the Sauran district. In general, in 2024, 13 large investment projects with a total cost of 16.4 billion tenge are planned to be implemented in the region.

As one of the important projects, the construction of an irrigation system based on the sprinkler irrigation method implemented by "Ak Sauran" LLP, which will be completed by the end of this year, can be noted. The amount of investment in this project is 1.5 billion tenge. The project is aimed at efficient use of water resources and increasing the productivity of agricultural crops.

Besides, feedlots and greenhouse complexes are actively developing in the district. This, in turn, contributes to the steady growth of agriculture in the region and the creation of new jobs.
