The President of the People's Republic of China, Xi Jinping, will pay an official visit to Astana on June 16-18, 2025. On June 17, the second meeting of the "China-Central Asia" business council will be held in the capital with the participation of the heads of Central Asian states, according to the official website of the Astana city administration.

Temporary traffic restrictions will be imposed on a number of streets in the capital from June 16-18. Traffic will be stopped in the following sections:
Kabanbai Batyr Avenue from Nursultan Nazarbayev International Airport to Mangilik El Avenue;
Mangilik El Avenue from Kabanbai Batyr Avenue to D.Konaev Street;
Konaev Street to Kabanbai Batyr Avenue intermediate;
Part of Kabanbai Batyr Avenue to Korgalzhyn highway.
Also, on June 17, 2025, traffic will be temporarily restricted on the following streets:
Kerey-Zhanibek Khandar Street - from Mangilik El Avenue to Sherkhan Murtaza Street;
Independence Avenue - A. from Kerey-Zhanibek Khandar Street. to Baitursynuly Street.

In addition, on June 17 from 14:00 to 20:30 K. near the Palace of Peace and Reconciliation. Traffic will be temporarily restricted on Amanzholov and Zh. Nazhimedenov streets.

Drivers and pedestrians should plan their route in advance, taking into account changes in traffic.

Temporary road signs and pointers will be installed to ensure public safety and reduce inconvenience on the road.
