In the Katonkaragay district, an international event called "Altai - my golden cradle" was held. This poetry competition was held as part of the large-scale festival "Altai - the golden cradle of the Turkic world" organized with the support of the administration of the East Kazakhstan region. Famous poets from Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan and Mongolia appeared on the stage. Among the participants were winners of republican and international contests, winners of "Golden dombra", "Asyl dombra" and laureates of state prizes.

The competition consisted of two stages. The best couples took part in the white contest, and a decisive debate was held. During the Aytis, the audience watched a concert program with the participation of the vocal groups "Nazkonur", "Daraboz" and prominent representatives of culture and art.

In the closing speech, Nurymbet Saktaganov, akim of SKO, presented the main prize.

The event was a remarkable event that brought together the cultures of the Turkic world and raised the spiritual value and status of the Kazakh Aytis art.
