Today, the Minister of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Kazakhstan E. Nysanbayev and Chairman of the Board of Kazakhtelecom JSC B. With the participation of Musin, the installation sites of the automated monitoring system of the fire early detection system were opened. It allows rapid response to forest fires, assessment of potential risks and isolation of fires in the early stages.

"Semei forest" reserve is one of the regions of the country prone to forest fires. Since the beginning of this year, 42 fire outbreaks have been registered, a significant part of which was caused by natural factors, including dry lightning discharges.

In addition, at the meeting with investors, specific instructions were given to increase the scope of development of the HRT. The Minister emphasized the importance of prompt resolution of the problems and set a deadline until the end of June for the stabilization of the situation and the timely development of volumes.

The implemented system is designed for round-the-clock video monitoring of forest areas using modern thermal imaging and optical cameras. The cameras are placed on antenna-mast structures 30 meters high, rotate 360 ​​degrees, and with the help of artificial intelligence, signs of smoke or fire are automatically recognized in the early stages.

When signs of fire are detected, the system immediately sends a signal to the emergency control center, which allows to quickly isolate and eliminate the fire source.

In the future, the system will be connected to the Strategic Planning and Emergency Management Command Center of the Ministry of Forestry of the Republic of Kazakhstan, which will provide centralized monitoring of forest areas at the national level to make effective management decisions.
