On June 14, 2025, in the central square of the village of Kyzylzhar, a ceremony was held to hand over the sacred soil taken from the burial place of the Kazakh soldier Imanberdinov Tankybai, who bravely died during the Great Patriotic War.

For many years, his relatives have been trying to find some information about his ancestors and father. Only recently it was possible to get accurate information about where he was buried by contacting the state archives.

The family brought a handful of soil from the brothers' cemetery located in the city of Suoyarvi in ​​the Republic of Karelia of the Russian Federation, which was the eternal abode of the hero. To the mournful music of the orchestra, the soldier's daughters, with tears in their eyes, placed this soil at the foot of the monument dedicated to those who died in the Great Patriotic War. This event turned into a heart-wrenching moment, reminding us of the price our ancestors paid for a peaceful life.

The spirit of our grandfather Tankybai and thousands of poor men who did not return from the war became an eternal symbol of love and heroism for the country, loyalty to the Motherland, which will be kept forever in the hearts of future generations.
