KazAID participated in a seminar on financial literacy

16 June 2025, Almaty - KazAID representative Tulkibayev Tlek took part in a seminar on financial literacy for Afghan migrants organised by the International Organisation for Migration (IOM) in Kazakhstan.

The event was held in Almaty at the UN Plaza and was part of an awareness campaign to mark the International Day of Family Remittances. This day emphasises the contribution of migrants in supporting their families and contributing to the development of local economies through remittances.

The workshop focuses on expanding access to financial services, improving migrants' financial literacy and promoting the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
