The StateRevenueCommitteeannouncesthecompletion of the construction of the Alakolcustomsposton the Kazakhsection of the customsborder of the EurasianEconomicUnion.Thecheckpoint has been fullyoperational since May12, 2025.

The newfacility was builtaspart of the project"Modernizationandtechnicalretrofitting of checkpointslocatedon the Kazakhsection of the customsborder of the EurasianEconomicUnion."

The implementation of thisproject is aimedatincreasing the efficiency of foreign economic activity,reducingbordercrossingtimeandimprovingconditionsforparticipants in foreign economic activityandcitizens.

The modernDostyk-Avtomobilnycheckpoint is equipped with all the necessarytechnologicalequipmentforautomatedcustomsandothertypes of statecontrol.

One of the key results of the modernization was the expansion of the number of lanes from two to six. This increased the capacity to 800 vehicles per day. This significantly reduces border crossing time and simplifies the logistics of international transportation.

 The opening of the new customs post was an important step towards strengthening the border infrastructure, increasing the capacity and transit potential of the country and the EAEU.
