In Almaty, near the theater named after Musrepova will have a new square with interactive lights and swings

Akim of Almaty inspected projects under the "Budget of Public Participation" program in Almaly district

During a working tour of Almaly district, Akim of Almaty Darkhan Satybaldy visited the park named after him. Imanova, where the current repairs are being carried out. New paving stones have already been laid, outdoor furniture has been updated, and a pergola has been installed. At the request of residents, a playground and a dog-walking area were set up here last year.

Nearby there is a park adjacent to the Musrepov Young Spectator Theater. The mayor of the megalopolis got acquainted with its condition – a major renovation is planned here. Architect Nelly Lapteva presented to the head of the city a project for future landscaping. It includes modern lighting, the installation of a playground, pergolas with swings, as well as the reconstruction of existing recreation areas.

During the presentation, the mayor stressed that it is important to link the landscaping of the space with the theatrical theme, by analogy with the design of the territory of the Kazakh National Drama Theater named after M. Auezov.

In turn, the architect noted that this approach is already embedded in the concept: the lighting will not only be functional, but interactive, with elements of play for a children's audience. For example, light structures will react to movement, and when approaching, they will light up, creating the effect of moving objects.

At the end of the detour, the mayor inspected the courtyard along Gogol Street, where the infrastructure is being updated as part of the "Budget of National Participation" program. Darkhan Satybaldy talked with the residents and asked their opinion on the progress of the work. The residents of Almaty noted that their proposals were taken into account, and the quality of landscaping meets expectations.
