On June 21, a large-scale morning yoga session was held on the seafront of Aktau to mark the International Day of Yoga. The event was organized by the Indian ethnocultural association “Sälem Namaste.”

Employees of the Department of the Penal Correction System for the Mangystau Region actively participated in the yoga session, demonstrating their commitment to physical and mental well-being, as well as openness to international cultural initiatives.

“This kind of event brings people together, inspires self-improvement, and reminds us of the importance of inner harmony. Together with our colleagues, we felt energized and uplifted — it's a great example to follow,” shared the department’s staff.
