Ambassador of Kazakhstan Participated in the Official Launch Ceremony of the Czech ROBOT Expedition to Osaka

Prague, June 21, 2025 – A ceremonial launch of the international automobile expedition ROBOT Praha–Osaka EXPO 2025 took place at Hradčany Square near Prague Castle. As part of the project, seven Czech vintage cars set off from the Czech Republic to Japan to participate in the World Expo 2025 in Osaka. One of the key segments of the expedition’s route will pass through the Republic of Kazakhstan, which serves as a bridge between Europe and Asia, highlighting the transcontinental nature of the initiative.

The ceremony was attended by the President of the Czech Republic, Petr Pavel, members of the diplomatic corps including the Ambassador of the Republic of Kazakhstan to the Czech Republic, H.E. Bakyt Dyussenbayev, as well as the organizers and partners of the project.

President Pavel personally launched the expedition and emphasized its significance as an initiative aimed at bringing nations closer together. He wished the participants a successful journey, favorable weather, and a safe arrival in Japan.

In his remarks, Ambassador B. Dyussenbayev underlined the importance of the initiative in fostering international cooperation and cultural dialogue. He praised the idea of the expedition crossing the entire Eurasian continent and expressed his hope for the successful and safe arrival of all participants at their final destination within the planned timeframe.

The expedition is expected to last approximately five weeks and will cover 12 countries, including Kazakhstan. The total route length is nearly 16,000 kilometers. The final destination is Yumeshima Island in Osaka Bay, where the cars will be showcased during the Czech National Day at EXPO 2025, scheduled for July 24, 2025.

The project symbolizes the pursuit of international dialogue, mutual understanding, and cultural exchange.
