Kazakhstan and Poland discussed strengthening interparliamentary ties
25.06.2025 19:19:49 330Warsaw, June 24, 2025 – Ambassador of Kazakhstan to Poland, Nurlan Zhalgasbayev, held a meeting with Barbara Bartuś, Member of the Polish Sejm and Chair of the Kazakhstan–Poland Parliamentary Cooperation Group.
During the meeting, the Polish MP was informed of Kazakhstan’s commitment to the steady development of bilateral cooperation with Poland. The importance of enhancing political engagement through interparliamentary dialogue was emphasized. Plans were outlined for organizing mutual visits of parliamentary delegations.
Special attention was given to expanding trade and economic relations as well as investment cooperation. The significant presence of major Polish businesses in the Kazakhstani market was noted, along with promising prospects for further growth in their number.
MP Bartuś congratulated the Kazakh diplomat on his appointment and stressed that Astana is Poland’s most important partner in Central Asia. The Sejm member expressed support for proposals aimed at boosting trade and economic cooperation.
