On June 25, 2025, the opening of the exhibition «Under the Single Shanyrak» took place in Yekaterinburg city (Russian Federation). This event is a meeting of two cultures, two histories united by a common sky and the desire to preserve their heritage. The international project is the result of fruitful cooperation between the East Kazakhstan Regional Architectural, Ethnographic and Natural Landscape Museum-Reserve and the Center for Traditional Folk Culture of the Middle Ural. Among the guests present at the opening of the exhibition were Yarin V.Yu. – Minister of International and Foreign Economic Relations of the Sverdlovsk Region, Dorokhin R.V. – Deputy Minister of Culture of the Sverdlovsk Region, Tulegenov B.E. – First Secretary of the Consulate General of the Republic of Kazakhstan in Yekaterinburg. The exhibition was opened by the acting director of the Center Savin K.O.

Residents and guests of Yekaterinburg were given a fantastic opportunity to immerse themselves in the world of traditions and customs of the peoples for whom the lands in the vastness of Eastern Kazakhstan in different eras became a real home! You can see with your own eyes the beauty and originality of national costumes, each element and ornament of which contains centuries-old wisdom and craftsmanship.

A special decoration of the exhibition was a fragment of a yurt with interior decoration. For several millennia, the yurt has retained its design and traditional appearance, since it is an important element of the nomadic way of life, a place for rituals, family ceremonies, and also for meetings with dear guests.
