In the central library named after Saken Seifullin of the Zhetysu region, video information dedicated to the International Day against Drugs and Drug Trafficking was presented entitled “Ertenindi oilasan – esirtkige zholama”.

The main goal of the event is to build immunity against drugs in society, insure young people from the harmful effects of drug addiction, and promote a healthy lifestyle.

During the event, a video “The 10 Most Dangerous Toxic Drugs” was shown; participants were presented with real data on the harm of various drugs to the human body. A book exhibition “Nashakorlyk – Gasyr Derti” was also organized and a bibliographic review was conducted. Participants of the event familiarized themselves with the literature on the medical, social and legal consequences of drug addiction.

“Organizer of the work of the social department of the Taldykorgan city clinic,” Alina Sharipbaeva, gave an informative report on the topic “Psychotropic substances” and gave comprehensive answers to questions from listeners. In her speech, she explained in detail the effects of psychoactive substances on human health and ways to avoid them.

At the end of the event, participants emphasized the importance of such meetings in the fight against drug addiction, noting that events of this format provide young people with the opportunity to make the right choice.
