Kazakhstan Delegation Participates in the 92nd Session of the WCO Policy Commission

        Brussels, 23–25 June 2025 — The delegation of the Republic of Kazakhstan took part in the 92nd Session of the Policy Commission of the World Customs Organization (WCO), held at the WCO Headquarters in Brussels. The session brought together senior officials from Customs administrations of WCO Members to discuss key priorities on the global Customs agenda and the Organization’s strategic development.

       The session addressed initiatives aimed at modernizing the WCO’s work, enhancing operational efficiency, strengthening partnerships, and developing resilient trade chains. Special focus was placed on digitalization, inclusiveness, and engagement with the private sector.

       On 25 June, the Kazakhstan delegation also participated in the annual Dialogue between the Policy Commission and the Private Sector Consultative Group. During the discussions, participants reaffirmed the importance of open dialogue between public authorities and the business community, aimed at finding practical solutions in the context of evolving global trade. The need to strengthen formal cooperation mechanisms and foster more active business involvement in global processes was also highlighted.

       The Kazakh side expressed its support for the ongoing reforms within the WCO and reaffirmed its commitment to actively contributing to joint efforts aimed at increasing transparency, security, and sustainability in international trade.
