One of the key tasks of the Anti-Corruption Service is asset recovery.

Since 2022, the Agency has returned to state ownership property assets and funds worth more than 1,152 trillion tenge, of which 329.4 billion tenge were reimbursed directly to the budget.

The returned assets include business centers, administrative buildings, commercial premises, houses, apartments, construction-in-progress facilities, land plots, luxury cars, and cash.

670.5 million US dollars (297.5 billion tenge) were returned from abroad, including money returned from Austria (82.1 million$ (36.8 billion)), Liechtenstein (260.5 million$ (116.7 billion)), the United Arab Emirates (14 million $ (6.3 billion)), Turkey (13.92 million $ (6.5 billion))).

In Almaty, 4 large facilities have been returned and transferred to research and educational institutions.

On June 27, 2025, as part of the Law and Order Week, the Anti-Corruption Service of Almaty conducted a press tour of the seized facilities for media representatives, where journalists could clearly see which facilities were transferred to the state.

In addition, on the eve of the Media Workers' Day, the journalists who covered the press tour were rewarded with diplomas and memorable gifts from the head of the Anti-Corruption Service of Almaty.
