At the meeting, issues of attracting internet systems to villages in the region, improving the quality of communication and other pilot projects were discussed. In the region, a number of works are being carried out in this direction. There are 801 rural settlements on the territory of the region. Of these, 740 settlements are covered by mobile internet. On the territory of the region, 429 rural settlements out of 801 rural settlements are covered by the optics network. In the remaining 372 rural settlements, optics were not carried out. I would like to thank you for providing funds for the coverage of these settlements with the optics network. This is a huge investment in our region. As a result, our residents will have access to high-quality internet. In order to provide rural settlements with high – quality communication, we, for our part, will contribute to providing telecom operators with the necessary infrastructure, - said Nuralkhan Kusherov.
Bagdat Musin said that the Turkestan region is in the spotlight. He noted that due to the large number of population and settlements, the work on internet access will be strengthened. In particular, 14.7 billion tenge was allocated by Kazakhtelecom JSC to improve the quality of the telecommunications system and the internet in 372 rural settlements. he said that he would invest in tenge. He asked the regional akimat to support the high-quality and fast implementation of these projects, and the proposal was resolved.
At the end of the meeting, Nuralkhan Kusherov and Bagdat Musin signed a memorandum on the implementation of the above initiative.
