Private First Class Nazym Kyzaibai, a physical training and sports instructor at the National Guard’s Sports Training Center, claimed the gold medal at the World Cup in Boxing, held in Astana.

In the decisive match in the 48 kg weight category, the Kazakhstani athlete faced off against Indian boxer Minakshi Minakshi. The bout ended in Kyzaibai’s victory by judges’ decision.
On her way to the final, she confidently defeated Japan’s Hikaru Shinohara in the semifinals.

Nazym Kyzaibai is one of Kazakhstan’s most decorated boxers. She is a bronze medalist of the 2024 Olympic Games, three-time world champion (2014, 2016, 2025), and 2021 Asian champion.

Her World Cup victory is yet another testament to her professionalism, fighting spirit, and unshakable determination — values that serve as a shining example of strength, resilience, and patriotism.
