"Ensuring safety in tourist zones and recreation areas is an important part of creating a positive tourist image of the region, protecting the life and health of visitors. In order to prevent emergencies, rescue teams and First Aid points must be carefully equipped. Provide recreation areas with safety instructions for tourists and vacationers. Monitor strict compliance with sanitary and hygienic requirements in recreation areas. Tourist facilities and recreation areas in the districts should be provided with clearly indicated signs, communication channels to prevent emergencies. Inform security measures widely on TV channels, social networks, internet resources," Daniyar Yerengalievich said. It should be noted that from January to May of this year, 25.7 billion tenge of investments were attracted in the tourism sector, which increased by 2.2 times compared to the same period last year. As a result of international and national events organized in the direction of business tourism, the number of tourists visiting the region has significantly increased. According to the results of the first quarter, the number of tourists reached 48 thousand people and increased by 89.2% compared to the same period last year. Along the International Road corridor "Western Europe – western China", which passes through the territory of the region, there are 55 road service complexes. During the summer holiday season, 13 small and 2 large resorts serve the population in the region.
