Regional Akim Berik Uali reported to the public on the socio-economic development of the Abai district and shared future plans.

🕯The meeting began with a presentation by district Akim Meirzhan Serikbosynuly, who outlined the socio-economic indicators for 2024–2025. Following this, the regional leader gave a report on the overall development of the region and the ongoing work in the Abai district.

💻As part of the "Raise Your Flag in Your Homeland" campaign, 1.5 billion tenge in investments will be attracted to the Abai district. Initiated by philanthropist Bektas Medgatov, an "Ethno Village Zhidebai" complex worth 1.2 billion tenge will be built in honor of the 180th anniversary of Abai.

🛠This year, repairs will be carried out on 8 schools in the district. Construction of a children's camp continues in the village of Kengirbai Bi. Sports modules are being built in the villages of Sarzhal and Kokbai.

The regional Akim noted that efforts to develop the Abai district will continue in the future.

📥At the end of the meeting, residents raised questions about building a boiler facility in the district center, providing benefits to people living in the former Semipalatinsk test site area, allocating test site lands for agricultural use, restoring ambulance services in the district, supplying an ambulance vehicle, upgrading the material and technical base of the Zhidebai museum-reserve, and building a greenhouse. The regional Akim assured that all raised concerns and suggestions would be considered and not overlooked.
